The Other Stuff Pages: What I Do When I'm Not Doing What I Do

Comfort the disturbed, disturb the comfortable

Well if you've wandered through the rest of my pages and wound up here by accident, you'll doubtlessly find the answers to all of your burning questions about me here. The usual answer, by the way, is "None of your business". There isn't a great deal to tell really, I'm terribly boring to the general public. Thelack-of-content below should tell you enough to dispel any lingering fantasies. If you have any other lingering fantasies, I probably don't want to hear about them.

I don't mean that to sound as off-putting as it probably reads to the vaguely friendly wandering web-surfers who stumble across this page, but I am rather protective of my privacy. I do appreciate friendly e-mail*, I am more than receptive to offers of new information and resources, and I am happy to receive compliments on my web pages (Or else why would I have bothered to put them up?). However, I try to only post about those topics which I feel will be of interest to some segments of the population, and only those topics which will not encourage too many weird e-mails. If you're an old friend or a family member looking me up on the web, please e-mail me. The same goes for anyone wishing to share information and insights (including corrections). I do genuinely hope that this web site is of some entertainment value to its readers, and I hope that I had an active hand in creating the better content herein, rather than it merely being the result of luck and happenstance.

There is also some additional Tam Lin related content below, but it is generally of tangential relationship to the rest of the site, and so has been placed here so as not to intrude upon the awareness of the more serious readers of the main web site.

*Disclaimer: You should also know that I almost never write back either. It's not that I didn't like your e-mail or didn't read your e-mail, it's just that I don't write much e-mail to anyone. If my friends and my family aren't getting e-mail from me, you can't really complain if you aren't either. If you're really upset I haven't written, send it again. I may have crashed my computer again and simply lost it.

Say the Secret Word: Please note that in order to reduce the amount of spam I receive I have instituted a filter on my mail. If the phrase Tam Lin isn't in the email subject line, the duck ain't coming down to give you your prize, okay? The email address is abigail amperset this domain.

That's it for right now. This is an area much prone to whim and fancy. I may add an essay from time to time, or in a fit of dissatisfaction I may delete the whole thing. I've removed most of the stuff that used to be here, because really, it's not your business.
