Areas of Tam Lin I have not researched, cannot substantiate, or simply post to amuse and share.

As I've learned more and more about this old ballad, I've stumbled across a lot of information that does not seem to fit in well anywhere else on this website. Some of it is simply theories or random ideas. Some of it is versions of Tam Lin that aren't quite traditional versions of the ballad. Some of it simply less serious than the rest of the website. Int he interest of providing fans of Tam Lin with anything and everything that might be of interest to them, I've created these pages as a storehouse for all of the stuff that should be presented but should also be taken with a grain of salt. The first page is just one where I post theories about Tam Lin that don't quite make it to the level of proven (at least in my opinion), and the second contains parodies and filk, which apart from providing amusement also illustrates the other ways the ballad gets into popular society.
